Apart from Prithviraj Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Veeru Devgan, Ajay Devgan, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, there are many families who have made a name for themselves in the industry. Not only this, he has also given many superhit films to Bollywood. Abhishek Bachchan often talks about trying to improve his acting by taking inspiration from his father, Amitabh Bachchan, but Akshay Khanna, son of Bollywood superstar Vinod Khanna, thinks otherwise. He didn’t want to work with his father at all, the reason behind it, the actor said.

Akshay Khanna himself answered this in an interview he gave years ago. He said that he never wanted to work with his father in films. Akshay fearlessly expressed his feelings and also explained the reason for not sharing the screen with his father.

Akshay said that when he first worked with his father Vinod Khanna in the film ‘Himalaya Putra’, it was a very scary experience for him. Akshay said, ‘My father Vinod Khanna is one of those actors with whom it is difficult to even stand in a frame. His performance is so awesome that you can never compete with him. I am definitely not able to match their performance. My screen presence cannot match my father’s. My father is one of the few people who destroys other actors standing next to him. He had said that he would never work with Amitabh Bachchan. There is also a reason behind it.

When Akshay Khanna was asked if he would like to do a biopic on his father? So the actor categorically refused. He said that I cannot be a substitute for my father. Because I don’t look like them. He also made it clear that making a biopic of my father is a very risky job. In such a situation, I can’t even think of doing his biopic.

Akshay Khanna was once a part of every other film of the 90s. The actor who once gave superhit films gradually flopped and then became an unknown. He was recently seen in the film Dshyam-2, in which he played the role of IG.
