The interest in Salman Khan Tiger 3 continues. On the ninth day since its release, early estimates suggest a collection of it ₹6.50 crore, indicating the usual ebb and flow in Bollywood films after the opening week.
The film, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, opened to a strong collection, which saw a mix of ups and downs in the second weekend. The collection of the first weeks stood great ₹187.65 crore.
On the first Friday of the second week there was a collection of ₹13.25 crore, a decrease of 28.38% from the previous day. However, due to the fate of the weekend, the film’s first Saturday collections increased by 39.62%, trending ₹18.5 crores.
There was a sharp turn on the second Sunday, and collections fell by 43.24%, which amounted to ₹10.5 crores. Interestingly, it was the same day when India took on Australia in the final of the ICC World Cup 2023. Despite the huge interest in the game of cricket, the Yash Raj Films film managed to significant in drawing people to the theatre.
As it stands, the current total for Tiger 3 stands at ₹236.43 crore, according to early estimates. The figures for the ninth day are still to be finalised, however. As for Day 10, the latest estimate suggests that it has earned ₹1.43 crore.
According to the YRF, India’s Box Office Collection (GBOC) stands at ₹290 crore though the collection is net ₹238.10 crore. The film’s GBOC is overseas ₹98 crore, making it a total of ₹GBOC 388 crore.
The film’s performance is always interesting, and the days of the week are expected to give a clearer picture of its staying power. The next few days will be crucial because Tiger 3 which navigates the competitive waters of Box Office longevity. Fortunately for the film, there is no big release coming up this Friday. It is the next big release Animalstarring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandana, will release on December 1.
