Retail sales recorded a year-on-year decrease of 1.2% in November this year, while in October it increased by 0.5%.
The announcement was made, this Friday, by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), which advances that, from February 2021, there has been no reduction. According to the data that has just been released, quoted by the Lusa agency, the turnover index in retail trade showed a year-on-year decrease of 1.2% in November, “a rate lower by 1.7 percentage points (pp ) than that observed in the previous ones. a month. ” and which resulted from the reduction in the grouping of food products and the reduction in the growth of non-food products.
