Buy or sell stocks for today: The Indian stock market swung between gains and losses and ended lower at the end of Thursday’s session. The Nifty 50 index lost 48 points and closed at 19,395 levels, BSE Sensex went down 143 points and closed at 64,832 marks but the Bank Nifty index ended 24 points higher at 43,683 levels. The average capital index ended in the positive even as the pre-dilution ratio ended in the negative at 0.75:1.

Vaishali Parekh, Vice President – Technical Research at Prabhudas Lilladher believes that the Nifty 50 index has been consolidating for quite some time now finding resistance near the 19,400 to 19,450 zone. Expert Prabhudas Lilladher went on to add that a decisive breach of 19,500 to 19,550 is important for NSE Nifty to further improve market bias. In terms of buying stocks today, Vaishali Parekh recommended three intraday stocks for today – Coal India, APL Apollo Tubes and NOCIL.

Regarding today’s Nifty, Vaishali Parekh said, “Nosai again after opening on a flat note remained on the broad range during the session, saw a gradual slide in the second half to finish just below the 19,400 zone. The index has been consolidating for quite some time now, finding resistance near the 19,400 to 19,450 zone and with 19,200 to 19,250 acting as a support zone, a decisive break above the 19,500 to 19,550 zone is needed to strengthen the trend further. .”

“Bank Nifty also saw after a flat opening a range-bound session to end on a flat note again near the 43,700 zone consolidating from the last 2-3 sessions. As said earlier, the index has to overcome os above the 44,000 zone to further strengthen the trend and establish some conviction to expect a further increase in the coming days,” Parekh said.

Parekh went on to add that Nifty would find immediate support today at 19,250 levels, while resistance is seen at 19,550 levels. Bank Nifty would have a daily range of 43,400 to 44,000 levels.
